Thanks for visiting my professional page🙏I began my career in 2002 as a structural engineer for offshore platform projects, and remained in this acrivity for many years. I was involved also in research, which sparked my interest in understanding why there is a gap between industry and academy in Brazil. To understand this, I began studying the concept of technology, which coincidentally led me to work on this subject in my current position at Subsea7 Brazil. This curiosity also led me to try to understand the mechanisms of technological development in countries, which is why I have been studying the results of the Global Innovation Index since 2016. I think this is key for the strategic decisions of any Company. For instance, why Japan has the biggest Technology cluster? Why Colombia is more productive than Brazil? Why do we export only commodities? Therefore, today I am a professional who seeks to understand the methods and challenges of qualifying a technology, who seeks to assess each country's position in the technological scenario and is attentive to development opportunities in academy. I also have an educational bias (for me It is a duty), as I have made it my mission to popularize this topic among young Brazilians, something I have been trying to do through my social networks.
