He leads Thenergy, a Chilean StartUp focused on supplying solar heat for industrial processes. Thenergy originates, designs, finances (directly or through third party investors), builds (with specialist partners), operates and maintains solar thermal systems that supply process heat to industrial customers, contributing with their decarbonization efforts.He leads the early stage of a big scale Green Hydrogen and Ammonia aimed at export markets.

He leads a multidisciplinary team in charge of the implementation of the Chilean Solar Energy Program (Transforma Solar), reporting to an advisory council, where the main industry players participate and to a board chaired by the Minister of Energy and made up of the Minister of Economy, the Vice-president of CORFO (Chilean Economic Development Agency), the undersecretaries of the Environment and Mining and representatives of the business and scientific field.The Chilean Solar Energy Program focuses its work on taking advantage of the opportunities offered by the Atacama Desert for the development of an industry of goods and services associated with solar energy, contributing to the sustainable development of the northern regions of Chile and the country as a whole.Within the framework of this initiative can be highlighted the development of projects such as ATAMO (Atacama Module), support for Startups of services to the solar industry, support for Cerro Dominador (1st Concentrating Solar Power plant in Latin America) and dissemination of the benefits of CSP in Chile, definition of technological guidelines associated with solar energy and green hydrogen of the Clean Technologies Institute, early dissemination of Chile's opportunities in the Green Hydrogen industry.In the development of this position, he represented Chile in international collaboration instances linked to the International Energy Agency, in photovoltaic (IEA_PVPS) and concentrating solar power (IEA_SolarPACES) technologies, as well as representing the country in various conferences such as the Berlin Energy Transition Dialogues (Berlin) and the MENA Concentrating Solar Power Congress of the World Bank (Dubai), among others.

He leads a professional team in charge of designing the roadmap of the Chilean Solar Energy Program, an initiative of CORFO (Chilean Economic Development Agency) aiming to take advantage of the distinctive conditions of Chile for the development of a local solar industry of goods and services of greater sophistication and at competitive prices, to supply both the national and the Latin American markets.

He leads a professional team in the areas of forestry, industrial and energy engineering for the development of power generation projects using forestry biomass, identifying national and international clients, private investors and suppliers in the regions of Araucanía, Los Ríos and Los Lagos with a shared value creation model, with an estimated investment of USD $ 48 million (20 MWe).

» Led a turnover in the company involving the expansion of the customer portfolio to the private sector and a major restructuring of budgetary and human resources, resulting in a 20% increase in sales volume in 2011 and 2012, and positioned CMC S.A. as one of the the main suppliers of technical services to SME’s and early-stage entrepreneurs in Government Programs in the Metropolitan Region and the Region of Valparaiso, according to number of projects developed and participants coverage.» Managed and developed CSR projects for the transnational mining companies Kinross and Goldcorp in the Atacama region, introducing the Shared Value approach in initiatives aimed to strengthen the company links with local stakeholders. At Kinross led a project to support local entrepreneurs in order to integrate them in a future supplier development program. At Goldcorp designed a community relations management system, an information management system and a community program to grant funding for new businesses.» Managed projects leading multidisciplinary teams of up to 120 professionals to support local enterprises at start up phase or growth phase, providing technical assistance and managing funding programs for the government agencies SERCOTEC and CORFO, resulting in over two thousand entrepreneurs and business owners from Valparaiso and Santiago regions succesfully guided introducing methodologies such as CANVAS, Design Thinking, Lean Startup y Customer Development.

» Participated in the design of the course and supported academic activities.

» Responsible for the design, implementation and monitoring of strategies for strengthening the productive sector in Valparaiso, working primarily with SME’s of the city in areas of training, technical assistance and funding. Led the Municipality’s links with different government and private organizations to support entrepreneurship and SME’s competitivity, and guided investors in the procedures to settle their companies in the city.

» Managed the design and operation of municipal information systems, covering the launch of new information modules, municipal web and intranet renewal, installation of biometric entry control, redesign of the IT network infrastructure of the new City Hall and improvement of telecommunications services.

» Designed and implemented initiatives to promote entrepreneurship and business development at the Valparaíso district.
