- Damage modelling and mechanical properties approximation for multiple quasi-isotropic composite material architectures based on random orientation carbon/epoxy pre-preg strands using ABAQUS and Hypermesh.- Script programming in Python and tcl/tk to generate, pre-process and post-process different 3D representative volume elements (RVE) of random orientation composites for Finite Element Analysis.- Design and parametric optimization of a wound composite hydroforming machine for high pressure operation using ABAQUS. - Progressive failure analysis FEA simulation of a double lap bolted joint between composite panels using ABAQUS.- Steady-state conduction, and convection heat transfer FEA simulations of autoclaved aerated concrete (ACC) microstructures using ABAQUS. - Transient heat transfer simulation of a thermo-hydroforming process for composite materials using ABAQUS.- Laboratory testing of composites according to ASTM standards for tension, compact tension, double cantilever beam (DCB), drop-weight impact, and compression after impact (CAI).- Use of Digital Image Correlation software to generate strain maps during mechanical testing. -Non-destructive evaluation of carbon and glass fiber composite coupons using ultrasonic scanning and acoustic emission sensing to measure internal integrity (void content).- Correlation of experimental and numerical analysis results using MATLAB.

- Worked in the R&D lab, cutting, laying up, bagging and oven curing composite test coupons for different R&D Projects.-Designed and manufactured a jig to facilitate router cutting operations on composite plates.

- Performed linear & non-linear static structural analysis of large product assemblies and parts using ANSYS Workbench and HyperWorks.-Provided Design Engineers with design recommendations based on simulation results.

Mechanical Design and manufacture of a 1kW vertical axis wind generator prototype.

ITESM-ProlecGE's Internship project:Worked with 2 other engineering students in the synchronization of the 5 internal suppliers of the Medium Power Transformers' main assembly line.

Worked with 2 other engineering students from my college and competed againts another university team in improving a production line by applying lean manufacturing Tools and the TPS methodology.My team won the challenge at GE's Motor services facility and we exposed our work at a nationwide GE lean challenge conference where all the winning teams showcase their projects.

Worked on a project aimed to reduce sand core scrap within the aluminum sand casting process.
