I conceived, co-developed and coordinate in Brasilia and in Rio de Janeiro the first MBA on Government Relations in Brazil, launched by FGV in April, 2015. Since July 2020 I also coordinate the LIVE (online) version of the Government Relations MBA at FGV, now available on more than 75 Brazilian cities.

Responsible for representing the company before policymakers at Federal, State and City Government levels, regulatory agencies, media (spokesperson), trade associations, competitors and industry partners. Led multifunctional teams on corporate strategic projects regarding fiscal incentives, import/export, regulatory environment shaping, legal disputes, corporate social & environment responsibility, manufacturing and marketing strategies, and corporate communications. On the international arena, participated in frequent joint works with other Latin American affiliates (e.g. Mexico, Argentina, Chile), in close contact with Headquarters in Finland.

Responsible to develop key projects in the regulatory and corporate affairs areas with Brazilian Government (Executive branch and Congress), private sector associations, regulators and other stakeholders, with a wide international exposition. Led projects on international trade agreements, anti-piracy initiatives, and export programs to MERCOSUR, Mexico, Europe, Africa and USA.

Working closely with the Executive Committee and four Business Units, coordinated over 20 priority projects related to corporate and business strategies, actual and future regulatory frameworks under development by ANATEL, and institutional relations improvement initiatives with Government agencies and departments.

Responsible for corporate relations with Brazilian Government departments, City, State and Federal agencies, private sector associations and information technology players regarding industry policies and sector positions. Representation on national and international events, developing strong interactions with corporate marketing, communication, finance, legal, tax, and trading departments of other affiliates. Also, development of international marketing and market access activities, coordinating industrial strategies of four plants in Brazil.
