Support the regional leader to implement & maintain the Production System in the North America Region and achieve objectives, driven by corporate, in the plants within the region.Guarantee that the Production System fully understood and communicate within the region.Act as an active part of the Business Unit Core Team, report activities monthly and two annually face-to-face meetings with the team.Communicate Business Unit expectations & targets towards the region and request & bundle feedback from the regional plants.Analyze logistics & production processes and indicators and provide recommendations for improvement.Initiate and realize changes in cooperation with the plant/department managers as well as the Production System Coordinators on the plant level to improve training, processes, material flows, and labor utilization.Ensure that exclusively harmonized Lean methods and tools have been applying within the plant to implement Production SystemTrain regional & plant management, trainers, and coordinators in Lean methods according to the Standards, e.g. Value Stream Mapping, 5S, elimination of waste, and Standardized Work Procedures.Facilitate Lean Evaluation/Assessment to monitor the improvement progress within the regionalPlants.Prepare internal reports periodically and as requested.Guarantee compliance with company policies and procedures.

Coordinating workshops such as Value Stream Mapping to the new products, processes, and existing products, identifying opportunities for improvement aimed at reducing lead time, costs and maximizing productivity and delivery performance and improvements involving safety and ergonomics; Manage three Business Units (Chassis Components, Chassis System, and Commercial Vehicles Chassis Modules) Roadmaps of the plant. Moderate workshops to plan the strategic projects and investments of the plant yearly.Report the results of projects, training, and workshops, and Business Units' objectives, monthly to the central department. Participate, twice a year, from the meeting of production system specialist on Car Chassis Technology division;Organize and lead Lean Assessment from the Business Units;Participation at supplier Toyota program BRASA (Brazilian Automotive Supplier Association), developing a project to increase productivity at the assembly lines. Coordinate projects of different Toyota’s suppliers to assist them to achieve the targets of productivity;Conduct the Shopfloor Management implementation at all the BU’s and act as a coach for moderators;Implement milk-run at the Chassis Components production, reduce the machining and assembly line stops due to lack of material, increase the logistic capacity to fulfill the demand with less effort and manpower. Improve the ergonomics issues at the material handling.Moderate and training all the employees on the methods of the production system as changeover optimization, 5S, standardized work, line balancing, and others.Participation at Production System Committee in South America.Implement and sustain the TPM and 5S program at the plant, with audit cycles, schedule of implementation, and recognition of employees.Responsible to develop packages for the final customer, making the link between logistics and production to guarantee better material flow, ergonomic situation, and low cost.
