As a communicator, storyteller, and expert in narratives, I have over twelve years of experience designing, directing, and executing communication strategies and campaigns for public and private sector clients. I have developed and implemented communication products of high narrative value in several Latin American countries. As a dialogue expert, I facilitate processes of collective construction and transformation of organizations and territories through participatory methods and tools. These are environments where diversity and divergence of opinion are accepted, and where conflict is not suppressed, but rather transformed through the application of imagination and creative thinking.As a futurist, I am guided by the following question: How can the future of these organizations or territories be collectively shaped? To construct possible futures, diverse positions must meet, be contained, and be guided through a process of research, analysis, imagination, and strategy.As a researcher, I am interested in how we relate to our personal and collective futures and how we imagine them. I also study how we construct narratives and social stories with the capacity to mobilize citizenship, trigger processes, and activate and/or promote behaviors in territories and organizations.In my work, I combine narratives, dialogue, and futures to create a unified approach that builds, shares, and mobilizes around a specific purpose. There are stories that have the power to influence and shape the world, and dialogue is a powerful tool for creating them as possible futures. It's not as simple as telling a story or sitting around a table in conversation. Building common ground through dialogue and narrative requires a significant amount of theoretical research, a thoughtful methodology, and narrative expertise.
