As a high school tutor, I provide one-on-one academic support across all levels of math, chemistry, and statistics. My role includes working with a diverse group of students, ranging from Spanish-speaking students to those enrolled in Advanced Placement (AP) courses. I am assigned specific students to mentor, but I also make myself available to assist others who need help. In addition to academic tutoring, I focus on building strong relationships with my students. I encourage and motivate them to explore higher education opportunities, whether that be through college, trade schools, or other post-secondary pathways. My goal is not only to improve their academic performance but to inspire confidence in their ability to pursue further education.

We learned about Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) and Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) and the programs designed to guide surgeons uses the technology. In addition, we saw the Process and Development (PD) team and the critical details to making, what seems very simple, equipment, such as the leads.
