Member of the aerodynamics engineering team at the Embraer's Preliminary Design Department. Participated in the design of new aircrafts and in research development programs for new technologies in transonic wings design. Supported the preliminary design and initial development phase of E2 family. Hands-on semi-empirical aerodynamic data bank, wind tunnel testing and related data bank, icing tunnel and performance drag polars estimation. Also supported a program for new technologies in transonic wings design.- Extensive flight to wind tunnel results comparison, development of design criteria and semi-empirical methodologies.- Transonic high Reynolds number cryogenic wind tunnel testing preparation, execution and reduction.- Supported some key parts of a flight testing campaign, evaluating the data estimated years ago.- Developed Reynolds number correction procedures for flight dynamics and performance data.- Semi-empirical aerodynamic data bank and drag polars for E2 family preliminary design phase. - - Worked close to CFD and flight dynamics group, defining CFD simulation needs and supporting aircraft sizing.- Leaded the planning, definition of test matrix, execution and data reduction of wind tunnel testing. - Developed tools for data reduction and leaded the team in the high fidelity MatLab Simulink data bank implementation for flight dynamics and loads simulation.- During the Master of Science in aerodynamics developed a new methodology for the transonic buffeting onset estimation.- Developed methodologies for estimation of ice accretion effects in protected and non-protected areas working together with flight sciences and anti-ice systems groups in the design of anti-ice system. Planned and participated in the icing wind tunnel tests setting criteria for the acceptable ice accretion shapes.

- Aerodynamic assessment of manufacturing deviations of the aircraft prototypes.- Development of MatLab Simulink flight dynamics model for before flight analysis and also for parameter estimation during flight tests.- Open and closed loop simulation assessing and determining the full flight by wire control law requirements. Pilot in loop evaluation of flight handling characteristics.

- Planned, executed and data reduction of one subsonic and four transonic wind tunnel tests. Implemented the related data bank in MatLab Simulink and developed the drag polars for performance calculations.- Supported wind design team with aerodynamics analysis. Developed semi-empirical ground effect model for preliminary simulation.
