Responsible for assisting the CEO and CCO, leading GUS Canada programs, action plans, research, resources, budget, processes, assessing new initiatives, and working with members of the leadership team, corporate staff, and designated faculty and staff from the universities and colleges owned and operated by GUS Canada: • Managed and executed a range of projects from the conceptual stages, planning, designing, implementing and communicating with key internal and external stakeholders, among them:‒ GUS Canada Sustainability Framework Project: Developed the Sustainability Vision and Plan for GUS Canada institutions, coordinating the task force composed of students, faculty, and staff, preparing the greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory and implementing Environment, Society, Governance (ESG) activities. ‒ GUS Canada Data Analytics: Set the framework for environmental scan and market research at GUS Canada institution, and identified and analyzed strategic data to the GUS Canada institutional brands at national and international levels. Salesforce Implementation at GUS Canada Project‒ Salesforce Implementation at GUS Canada Project: Migrated the existing Salesforce server and datasets stored in Europe and implemented the service at GUS Canada institutions. The project involves the areas of student recruitment, marketing and communications, and partnerships.• Maintained ongoing awareness and compliance of policy and procedural changes while planning and executing strategic projects as well as communicated and recommended changes in existing policies and procedures.• Supported GUS Canada and institutions to develop a strong working unit, fostering alliances and partnerships in order to identify critical issues and gather key inputs, and organization of the Advisory Committees such as the GUS Canada Technology Transformation and Innovation Council.

Responsible for assisting the United Nations agency to provide advisory services to public partners in planning,building and maintaining resilient and sustainable infrastructure by business organization practices and assessing the Honduras government using the Capacity Assessment Tool for Infrastructure (CAT-I): • Identified the gaps and opportunities of Inversión Estratégica de Honduras (INVEST-Honduras) to plan, deliver and manage their road infrastructure assets.• Evaluated and provided recommendations for enhancing the planning, design, procurement, construction, operation, maintenance, and dismantling and/or demobilization processes of infrastructure. • Prepared the Communication Plan and Management of Change in INVEST-Honduras.

Responsible for leading the Global Consulting and Partnerships team, business development, global market intelligence, educational consulting projects, and liaising with internal/external communities: • Increased business development by establishing and managing 35 partnerships;• Project management of 10 leading demand-driven, innovative training and capacity building projects in different countries. This included proposal writing, Request for Proposals (RFPs), project/team management, overseeing donor/funder requirements (e.g. Global Affairs Canada, CICan, CBIE), budgeting and reporting;• Assisted students and faculty in developing intercultural and education experience, including second language competencies, through outgoing/incoming exchange programs, field schools, work experience abroad and short-term programs. This included assessing partners, developing partnership agreements, and responding to students/partners inquiries;• Supported students and instructors in gaining practical English language skills in short-term and learning Canadian culture by overseeing non-credit and customized programs (CELA).

Responsible for infrastructure and logistics projects, contributing to the energy security strategy, and implementing an integrated plan to digital connectivity and telecommunications in 7 States:• Provided accurate/timely decision-making information for improving existing/upcoming infrastructure assets by implementing logistic projects and creating reports for the Executive Secretary, State Governors and Secretaries of Distrito Federal, Goiás, Mato Grosso do Sul, Mato Grosso, Rondônia, Tocantins and Maranhão; • Strengthened the agro-industry in the region by developing projects such as the Rural Assistance and Extension Model (ATER), the Regional Animal and Phytosanitary Cooperation and Certification of Origin, and the Land Regularization Model;• Managed projects for infrastructure planning and logistics integration centres by creating an Infrastructure and Intelligence Platform – iBrC and fostering strategic partnerships with Embrapa, Dom Cabral University (FDC) and the Brazilian Ministry of Economy.

Responsible for managing the Mato Grosso office and business development at state and municipal levels:• Ensured partners’ needs and expected results were achieved by managing political and institutional activities. This included procurement, RFPs and risk analysis of the projects:‒ Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) modeling of 4 hospital centers, and the reorganization of the Health State Department (SES);‒ Reorganization of the Infrastructure State Department (SINFRA) by implementing the Compliance Unit, the Mato Grosso Logistics Plan, and the PPP modeling project of 2 state roads;• Conducted the Capacity Assessment Tool for Infrastructure (CAT-I) pilot, one of only three in the world. This provided SINFRA and the Education State Department (SEDUC) means to plan, manage, monitor, and dismantle infrastructure assets as well as to identify gaps and assess the impacts;• Aligned performance indicators (KPIs) at MT PAR, a State PPP company, to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and developed the team’s technical capacity. This included improving skills for planning, implementing, and monitoring projects, and developing the Compliance Unit and communications strategy;• Supported the UNOPS strategy in Mato Grosso State by developing collaborative partnerships with financial institutions such as Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

Responsible for applying the theory and developing the outputs for planning/implementing the Business Operations Strategy (BOS) worldwide:• Achieved positive results by delivering exercises and methodologies in the areas of Baseline Analysis; Needs Analysis; Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA); Results Framework; and, Monitoring and Evaluation framework;‒ Redesigned the BOS Training of Trainers (ToT) exercises (case study) to reflect the latest development in policy/guidance, including the new CBA;‒ Ensured consistency in data provided to participants in support of assignments;‒ Structured the methodology to optimally reflect the BOS ToT and meet the needs of the training.

Responsible for leading the BOS in Brazil, an initiative of USD 300K, under the direction of the Resident Coordinator and Agencies’ Directors (UNDP, UNESCO, UNOPS, UNFPA, UN Women, UNEP and UNFPA):• Improved efficiency for the UN System, partners, and clients by implementing the Joint Operations Facility (JOF), a common services unit for Procurement, HR, Travel/Administration, and IT:‒ Designed new processes and harmonized the manuals and procedures;‒ Mapped needs/volumes and proposed the sustainability model, monitoring and evaluation frameworks, infrastructure and JOF’s staffing; ‒ Defined the communications plan and cost-sharing and cost recovery models;‒ Organized training and writing/editing reports and technical documents.

Responsible for identifying new clients for personnel certification, technical standards, and Non-Destructive Testing training in Brazil and abroad. Developed markets in areas such as gas and oil, shipbuilding, automotive, chemicals, aeronautical, wind and solar energy:• Supported the strategic planning process and quality system by creating the Innovation Group and Project Management Office;• Acquired over USD 2M in fundraising and was appointed to manage the Inspection Centre in Uruguay. This included conducting feasibility studies and implementing projects in innovation, logistics, social responsibility, total quality and reverse logistics;• Realized efficiencies by coordinating institutional relations and government affairs.

Reporting directly to the FIEP’s President, responsible for leading Paraná’s general/operational management of industry, education and consulting services, with an annual budget of USD 5M and 60 team members. This included the Merge and Acquisition assessments and studies to incorporate FAMEC University into the executive education program:• Placed the company in a position of financial sustainability and reduced the USD 1.5M deficit by developing a new portfolio of 10 products. This included implementing marketing and commercial policies (market research, niches definition, price policy, bidding processes), mapping processes and designing the strategic plan:‒ Improved supplier-client relations by defining the social responsibility model and serving as the Key Account to clients such as HSBC, Mondelēz/Kraft, Renault, Volvo and Bosch;‒ Increased the market share of the Internship Program by 25%/year;‒ Applied best practices/tools from strategic alliances with Mexican, British and Argentinian companies;‒ Acquired USD 600K through fundraising with governmental Agencies;‒ Identified opportunities and represented the organization on trips, workshops and seminars.

Responsible for assisting in the development of 60 APLs (industrial clusters), mapping needs, providing managerial services, representing the organization in the Ministry of the Industry and Commerce’s Cluster Group, and strategic planning:• Achieved corporate goals/targets by designing 15 strategic maps (BSC), defining and monitoring strategic indicators and internal/external scenarios;• Managed numerous projects in partnership with FINEP, BNDES, and the Ministries of National Integration, Education, Science & Technology, and Culture:‒ Conducted prospection studies/analyses of industrial and technological scenarios;‒ Assisted Brazilian companies with technical capacity, logistics issues, foreign trade, cooperativeness, supply chain development, and internationalization in partnership with the COPCA and PROMOS European Agencies.

Responsible for assisting the Government Agency in delivering international services for projects in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Lucia, St. Kitts and Nevis. This included a significant IT component, defining information sources (internet), communications plan, and identifying/contacting key stakeholders in the region.

Assisting the Officer responsible for marketing by proposing a methodology for charting opportunities at CIDA and other organizations; tracking opportunities through a computer database; scanning publications in the area of governance; and obtaining information from other sources such as the Internet in order to identify opportunities.
