From June 2012 to August 2013Data Center Facility Manager of two IBM Data Center and one of Portugal Telecom (Communications company). Direct Responsible of 21 technicians and indirectly of around 50 technicians of sub-contracted companies. - Responsible for the maintenance management of IBM Alfragide, SIBS, Montepio and Telvent Data Centers support infra-structure. - Among the several equipments in a Data Center there were Chillers, pumping systems, HVAC units(crac’s, fresh air units, ventilators,...), generators, power transformers, electric boards, UPS’s, fire prevention systems, security systems (intrusion, hydrogen and CO2 detection), extinction systems and other building’s support systems - Responsible for the maintenance plan as well as for its supervision. - Contract management and procurement. - Elaboration of operation manuals, contingency plan manuals and safety and hazard prevention plans. - Perform simulations and present results of the CFD (computational fluid dynamics) software, applied specifically to support data centers conception and operation. - Developed management knowledge regarding availability, reliability, energy monitoring and management of an infrastructure, due to the implementation of IBM standards and guidelines.- Technical Audits to Movie theaters HVAC systems. - Technical audits to data centers. - Creation of a database on maintenance software. - Monitoring and supervision of small works (installation of UPS, Chillers, freezing of water pipes and installation of water collector, link handling units Precision air to existing and operating facilities systems.
