Senior safety assurance engineer on behalf of Metro Trains Melbourne of the Level Crossing Removal Project (Caulfield to Dandenong) based on the rail infrastructure and signalling subsystems integration of the new elevated structures and five new stations to remove the existing level crossings.Systems Assurance management and update of the project Preliminary Hazard Analysis, Hazard Log, SFAIRP arguments and the System Assurance Report along with the safety argument using Goal Structuring Notation (GSN). In addition, assessment of the safety-related documentation provided by the signalling subsystem supplier.

Independent Safety Assessment (ISA) of the project Hazard Log, Verification and Validation evidence and Safety Assurance Reports and development of the ISA Report compiling all the results of the assessment.

Coordination of RAM, Safety/Assurance and Validation activities throughout the life cycle of signalling subsystems including ETCS/ERTMS (INTERFLO 200 / 250 / 450) and CBTC (CITYFLO 650) based on European CENELEC standards.ACTIVITIES:• Project RAM and Safety Planning and RAM / Safety requirement specification and support on SW/HW architecture and design strategies. • Hazard Identification and Analysis by performing PHA (Preliminary Hazard Analysis), HAZID (Hazard Identification), SHA / SSHA (System / Subsystem Hazard Analysis), IHA (Interfaces Hazard Analysis) and Hazard control through HL (Hazard Log).
