Prior to current work in higher education accreditation and licensure with the UAE Ministry of Education's Commission for Academic Accreditation, I served as a university faculty member for over 30 years in the US, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and UAE, along with significant consulting experience in system and occupational safety and health engineering for a variety of clients, including Boeing, G.E., Procter & Gamble, Kuwait Oil Company and others. Certified by BCSP in 5 areas of safety practice: system safety, engineering, management, construction, and comprehensive practice. Elected as President of the International System Safety Society (2015-2017). Keynote speaker at international HSE conferences. Elected as a Fellow of the System Safety Society.
