Maintenance TechnicianAnglia Planters 1993 - 2000Starting my career as a maintenance technician I learnt from the ground up as to every aspect of running a business including maintenance of interior plants, horticulture, landscaping, customer care, bookkeeping, debt collecting, sales, marketing, business development, team management, project management. This varied and somewhat mundane experience has enabled me to relate to people (staff, colleagues, customers, suppliers) at all levels and really forged my people skills for later on in my career. It helped me to acquire a detailed knowledge of plant requirements whilst on the shop floor and to get a detailed insight as to the inner workings of our clients' businesses.
