Leading the SafeCare market expansion in Africa and Asia, driving quality institutionalization in healthcare through public and private partnerships.Overseeing a growing portfolio of projects and partnerships, increasing day in and day out the impact SafeCare makes. Together with a multi-country team we promote institutionalization of sustainable quality healthcare using the SafeCare digital tools as a catalyst. One of the achievements was the opening of the SafeCare India Entity in 2024.SafeCare helps embed quality at the facility, network, and national levels offering practical solutions to meet local challenges with digitally enabled support. SafeCare has provided crucial quality improvement support to 7,144 healthcare facilities, 32 partners, and staff in 21 countries.SafeCare is part of PharmAccess, an international not-for-profit organization dedicated to the strengthening of health systems in sub-Saharan Africa through digital connectivity.

The aim of these innovations is to improve health and quality of life in children and, as a result later in life, in adulthood. I develop partnerships and plans to realize these innovative projects. My work contributes to the TNO program Innovation for Development (I4D). This program is a TNO wide program focusing on applied innovations in developing countries; mainly Africa and Asia.
