During my internship I mainly worked on my master thesis. The topic of my thesis is the prediction of employee mobility and career paths. My biggest (academic) contributions are:• An algorithm that detects job transitions in workforce data.• Examined the vacancy chain model and created a method to analyse how vacancies are being filled internally by demotion, promotion and externally by new hires.• A method to analyse career paths over time to test path dependency using Markov chain models. In addition, I analysed employee mobility between hierarchical functional areas.
