-Assist clients in completing information technology risk assessments to define security risks, likelihood of risk occurrence, and potential impacts to the organization. - Coordinate a variety of information technology audits on financial institutions with assets between $50 million and $4 billion.- Execute information security controls testing for financial institutions and healthcare companies to understand the organization's information technology environment to ensure regulatory compliance and reduce security risk. - Manage a team of security consultants by delegating control domains to lower-level staff, reviewing control matrices and workpapers, and communicating remediation efforts with the client based upon the audit results. - Plan information technology audits with the client from start to finish including scoping the client engagement letter based on risks assessment outputs, creating document request lists prior to beginning fieldwork, and communicating sensitive risk observations to the client contacts. - Lead discussions with bank executives to communicate audit expectations, gain a full understanding of security controls, and to recap audit results with supporting documentation. - Manage roughly 25 budgets per year each between $10, 000-$100, 000 by determining necessary staff alignment, charge rates, travel costs, and other budgetary considerations to align with project realization goals.- Perform audits including HIPAA security risk assessments, information technology general control reviews, Sarbanes Oxley control reviews, FDICIA control reviews, and electronic banking reviews to help businesses comply with security, confidentiality, and privacy standards.
