I made heavy use of GIS Data, Excel, Powerpoint, Matlab, and Public Data Sources. Over 300,000 data points were analyzed and statistical analysis was presented at the 2023 Leadership Alliance National Symposium.

I was employed at the Langley Youth Program for Langley Air Force Base. I gained aninvaluable amount of experience working with and supervising children from the ages of six tofourteen. I have supervised and taught an average of twenty children. With this supervision, Ihave gained experience with creating, analyzing, and executing lesson plans and foodadministration. I have been trained to identify the signs of child abuse and neglect with children,along with proper procedures and protocols for rectifying such issues. I have been trained in theadministration of the EpiPen hypodermic device for an emergency allergic reaction. Thisknowledge is potentially life-saving, which is crucial when caring for children. I have beentrained in the proper procedures and protocol for active shooter and fire alarm situations, inaccordance with US Air Force guidelines. I have gained experience in office management withprocessing and retrieving files containing sensitive information.

I was employed at the Langley Marina on Langley Air Force Base. I gained experience intaking money in the form of cash, check, or credit cards from patrons in exchange for food orservices. I provided change, balances drawers, and processed card transactions as well asproviding customer service for patrons. I gained experience in maintaining the workplace in anorderly and sanitary condition. I also gained experience in the handling and distribution of rentedpaddleboards, kayaks, and canoes.

I gained over 36 hours of experience in sorting and stocking donated food into “like”containers, inspecting the products for dates and damage to ensure food safety. This was crucialfor the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank as approximately 80% of our food product is donated.Additionally, I assumed the role of room facilitator, overseeing the movement of completedpallets out of the Isolation & Sorting Room and then positioning waiting for donations intoposition to be sorted. This action alone was a major assist in keeping the flow of the roommoving.
