To date, I have covered mainly album releases for Vulture Hound but have had the opportunity to conduct interviews, review live shows, and write up band features. I contribute to VH on a freelance unpaid basis as regularly as possible.

Events I have helped out with have included the 1848 Tricolour Celebration, Destination Waterford City Charter Training, and most recently, the Harvest Festival. My focus has mainly been on Social Media marketing (my strength being Twitter.) Aside from this I have written invitations, thank you letters, press releases, blogs, and content for websites.

As the beginning of my journey through the world of music journalism, Electric Banana enabled me to become comfortable with writing both album and single reviews while affording me the opportunity to try my hand at live reviews and band features.

Although I began working on the tills, I developed many skills during my 5 years at B&Q. I was often called upon to cover the customer service desk where I did many tasks including; answering phones, handling returns and exchanges, and both creating and chasing orders. As time went on, I learned things which enabled me to cover sections within the store.

As my first job, working at Irish Indeed was my introduction to the world of retail. My main duty was packaging and mailing of website orders with online labelling, occasionally covering the till and working with stock around both store locations.
