Machinery - Troubleshooting machinery problems and correct operation deviations within ability - Oversees set up and operation of all machine operations on a daily basisEmployee Management - Offer instruction and assistance to manufacturing employees on work methods, company policy, procedures and related topics - Investigate and document production problems and employee complaints as needed - Report production and employee problems to management as needed - Establishe and monitor safety standards within company guidelines for the manufacturing processProduct Management - Spot deviations from product quality standards and directs corrective action immediately - Maintain product manufacture within company standards for quality, timeliness and cost - Direct and control workloads to ensure smooth operation and flow of product - Identifie materials required for productionMiscellaneous - Perform all plant functions to cover scheduled work breaks - Perform other related duties as assigned or needed

Extensive travel to customer sites to install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair BOP stacks, BOP control systems, Motion Compensation equipment and subassemblies such as:•Ram BOPs and subassemblies•Discreet hydraulic and multiplex (MUX) control pods•Subsea gate valves•Piston, bladder, and depth compensated accumulator bottles•BOP stack mounted control system components•Surface BOP control systems, HPUs, and Diverter panels•High pressure manifolds•Crown mounted compensators, drill string compensators, wireline tensioners, and inline tensioners•Use machine drawings to define acceptable tolerances using measurement tools including, but not limited to, dial calipers, ID & OD micrometers, vernier slide calipers, depth micrometers, inside spring calipers, and feeler gauges•Perform field upgrades and train customers on how to properly operate the system•Interface with relevant departments to obtain a thorough understanding of NOV products and how they are safely operated, tested, calibrated and problems are resolved timely•Provide training to other NOV personnel on systems and equipment as needed•Provide accurate and timely report(s) regarding work progress and output, and communicate field failures and feedback reports to the appropriate departments•Perform other work-related tasks as assigned•Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures

Works directly with customers either by telephone or electronically. Execute planned MRP messages within 24 hrs. Work closely with Production in order to meet customers expectations or communicate changes in planned deliveries. Provide customers and/or Management job status. Provide customers with quotes.
