About Rogelio Juarez
I am currently a Senior Test Engineer at Macom.I was previously employed at Kumu Networks, where I was part of a team developing the world's first wireless full-duplex products, which allows a radio to transmit and receive signals at the same time, using a single frequency channel. I was previously employed at Intel Corporation as a RF Si Validation Engineer, where I was responsible for ensuring the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from the component feasability stage through production ramp. I have experience operating radio frequency test equipment (VNA, Power Meter, Spectrum Analyzer, Analog Signal Generator, U/D Converters) to analyze and evaluate component specification versus performance to ensure optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability, with specific emphasis on yield analysis and bin split capability.
Listed skills include Electronics, Public Speaking, Attention To Detail, Radio Frequency, and 15 others.

Rf Characterization & Test Engineer
-Participate in the full life cycle of product development – from requirements definition and documentation, through test specification, implementation, product validation, issue analysis, issue debug, and performance reporting-Work directly with customers and vendors to bring-up, integrate, and validate a variety of new full-duplex prototypes and products-Responsible for defining and executing design validation test (DVT) plans against current and future products
Electronics Engineer
Post-Silicon Rf Validation Engineer
-Participated in bring-up, debugging, testing and optimization of short-range FMCW RADAR Architecture -Characterized system S-parameters, Phase Shifter Tuning Step/Range, Gain Band Flatness, Noise Figure, IP1dB/OP1dB, SSB Image Reject, LO Leakage, and Current Consumption-Integrated Test Equipment Automation Library in C# Test Scripts to drive complex test equipment via GPIB and automate all test measurements-Autonomously plan and schedule own daily tasks-Develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement
Hardware Validation Intern
Our Silicon Validation environment is used for initial bring-up, testing and debug at an early stage of the product validation. It is intended to cover all block-level validation and characterization, and serves as a main vehicle for PHY integration. Our SV board setup allows for autonomous or functional configurations, where autonomous mode simply means the IC is used as a discrete device and not integrated to any platform. A majority of my testing is done using the autonomous configuration, where our SV board has all digital, power, and RF interfaces exposed through dedicated connectors for validation purposes. All interfaces are then connected to test equipment, signal sources/sinks and power supplies. A summer project I was fully responsible for was performing the initial bring-up, debug, validation and characterization of a Radio Transceiver Controller in our SV test environment, which serves as a communication link between 2 mmWave ICs. The full system is meant for mmW 5G, so 28 GHz, 39 GHz, and 60 GHz radios. I was responsible for characterizing the analog performance of the Radio Transceiver Controller, such as Tx Max/Min Output Power, HD2/HD3, Rx SNDR at ADC Output, ADC ENOB, and Rx/Tx Current Consumption.Similarly, I have experience characterizing the RF performance of Bluetooth Silicon, where I ensure that the BT Receiver provides a baseband signal for decoding control and data to the BB IC. I was responsible for measuring the sensitivity, linearity, system gain, and Noise Figure of the BT Receiver over process, voltage, and temperature using C# scripts to automate each validation test.
