Startup and mechanical commissioning for 2 GE Aeroderivative LM-2500's simple cycle and 2 GE LM-6000 simple cycle with sprint and water injection water systems. One air cooled and one water cooled air intake in Venezuela.

Made startup and rounds on 2- Westinghouse 501 dual fuel 50 MW simple cycle turbines, 1- 75 MW CT-3 simple cycle GE turbine, 2- dual fuel boilers with 2 hydrogen cooled 225 MW GE Generators and 1 Solar Trough power plant with Organic Rankin Cycle power turbine.

Start up, Commissioned, Operated and Decomissioned a Gas To Fuels Process demonstration project for Marathon Oil Company at Southwest Research Institute.

I filled in for two auxiliary operators for a simple cycle/combined cycle peaking plant. I was responsible for the water sample panel and treatment. I conducted rounds on all equipment and ensured everything was working properly. The plant used LM6000 PC GE GT with annular combustion and inlet cooling and heating and dual fuel capability. Nooter Eriksen 700lb/800deg. 98klb/hr HP 36klb/hr LP HRSG w/ Coen duct burners. Nuovo Pignone 53 stage 28.5MW steam generator.1.5 MW Cummings black start generator. All water treatment equipment with MMF, UF, RO, E-Cell Systems, and MB Polishers. Nebraska Boiler aux. boilers.

Supervised daily safe efficient operations of a 12MW biomass cogeneration plant with 12 operators, lead operator, 2 millwrights and electrician. Planned, scheduled, and organized for 3 turbine outages on a 12 stage with 3 extractions GE steam turbine with air cooled GE generator.4 outages on a 140klb/hr @ 870lb 860 deg Keeler/Dorr boiler. My responsibilities included safety training, public relations, purchase orders, preventive maintenance, personnel payroll & scheduling, contractor coordination, steam & electrical production and all reporting to OSHA, EPA, and Energy Commissions with Microsoft Excel. Operations experience includes radio communications, water chemistry using spectrophotometer, Keeler/Dorr steam boiler with fixed pin-hole grates, motors, pumps, ID, FD & OFA fans, dampers, ash system and conveyors. All conditions from control room and 12 hr shifts, Recorded shift activities, monitored CEMS, operated cation/anion demin, reverse osmosis, sand filters, 12 MW GE steam turbine/generator, steam distribution, electrical distribution, air compressors and dryers, production gauges, P&ID, fuel moist calculations, Marley cooling tower, Escolaire condenser, air ejectors, rounds, designed and help commission quench scrubber to Electrostatic Precipitator, Cert. V.E.E. #13031
