I have been involved in agriculture all my life, from growing up on a grain and livestock farm in Minnesota to being a farm broadcaster, an ag journalist and putting that experience to use in analyzing US policy on agriculture, trade and more. I have covered/analyzed farm bills from the 1990 Farm Bill to the latest version -- the 2018 Farm Bill. I have a broad array of contacts in agriculture and trade policy and have traveled outside the US to gain knowledge on agriculture in different areas around the globe. I provide informative and entertaining presentations on agriculture policy and politics.
