Captain on the B-777, 767, 757, MD-11, MD-10Instructor (both simulator and on the line) for 22 years on the MD-11/10 and B-777. I was a designee and Line Check Airmen on both MD-11/10 and B-777. I am presently a 767 Captain flying mostly intra-European routes.

Worked in a command post with other representatives of the different components that make up the main drivers in the daily operation of delivering the packages. I was the pilot specialist who had operational control over the pilots. Most decisions made were of an immediate, need action/decision now nature to keep the freight moving safely, efficiently, expeditiously, and on time (if able). Working and coordinating with the other departments (mx, wx, schedulers, dispatchers, etc) was a priority and required deft human nature skills and quick, comprehensive thought of either the micro or macro view of our operation to ensure decisions made did not have a negative, snowball, affect.

Distinguished Graduate USAF Pilot Training, Williams AFB, Class 82-02A, Nov, 1981. One of two students to receive an overall grade of excellent on all check rides. Picked to be a F-4 RTU Instructor right after checking out in the F-4. I was a fully qualified DACT (Dissimilar Air Combat Training) 4 ship flight lead and 4 ship SAT (Surface Attack Tactics) Instructor as a new 1st Lt. Taught academic classes in the RTU and in the Fighter Weapons School. . I was the Manager/Chief Pilot of Paramount Air Service’s Atlantic City Banner towing operation. It was my summer job while I went through college. I flew 7 days a week, flying a Super Cub, towing aerial advertising signs on varying lengths of tows, between Barnegat, NJ and Cape May, NJ. The Atlantic City operation was small as compared to Paramount’s Cape May operation and we operated out of Bader Field Airport. I was responsible for managing the ground crew, sales, service, and scheduling of crews.I left the position in September of 1980 to enter the USAF.
