Nearly 50 years’ experience in heavy current electrical engineering and project management, both in South Africa and the UK with a focus on the low, medium and high voltage switchgear industry; and, more recently, the medium and high voltage transformer industry. Actively involved in project management since starting my own consulting company in South Africa in 1988. Shortly afterwards, merged practices with Stan Hawkeswood to form Hawkeswood Bonfa Asssociates, and, following Stan's untimely passing, was joined by Lodewyk de Clercq and renamed to practice HBdC cc, which grew into a well-respected entity with a solid base of commercial, industrial and mining clients. Since relocating to the United Kingdom in 2007, have been involved in project management in the oil and gas industry. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Acrobat Pro DC and AutoCAD 2020.
