As Managing Partner at Burges Salmon, I am responsible for setting (working with the board - our Partnership Committee) and implementing the firm’s ambitious growth strategy, and for the efficient delivery of our day-to-day operations. Our purpose is to be an ambitious, sustainable and inclusive firm that ensures our clients, our people and our wider communities flourish. We were delighted when this ethos was recognised when we were named ‘Law Firm of the Year’ at the British Legal Awards 2020. Before becoming Managing Partner, I led the firm’s Employment team advising major employers in the public and private sectors on all aspects of employment law including: restructuring, redundancy and TUPE, the defence of Employment Tribunal claims and senior executive severance.
