My primary role is the creation of 3D computer generated architectural renderings and animations. The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to: working efficiently with Project Managers, architects and CAD persons to insure accuracy of the 3D model, gathering all relevant digital CAD files (including AutoCad, Revit, and 3D Studio Max) for creation of the 3D model, gathering and digitally scanning material samples to be used for surfacing of the 3D model, creating and manipulating textures (using Photoshop) to be used for surfacing the model, modeling of architectural structures and environments, setting up virtual lighting (using V-Ray) and determining strategic vantage points for placement of the virtual camera in order to deliver the best aesthetic view possible for showcasing the final rendered image. My current role in the IT department consists of setting up, configuring, and maintaining employee work stations, installing new software and utilities as needed. Show less
