The European Ranger Federation was formed in May 2017 to aid networking and support between park rangers and others involved in protected area management across Europe. There are currently member associations in 25 countries in Europe with more due to join.

Uk

The Countryside Management Association represents park rangers and other professionals and volunteers involved in urban greenspace and protected area management in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. It is a membership organisation with over 450 members engaged in all aspects of wildlife and habitat management, working with communities; interpretation, education etc.

Essex Uk

Voluntary position helping support park rangers worldwide particularly in areas where poaching and managing protected areas is coming under attack. Monitor deaths in service (more than 100 rangers are killed each year) and actively work to support families of the fallen rangers.

Waltham Abbey

Managed 4000 hectares of country parks and green space with a team of 40 including park rangers, conservation officers; fisheries and farms staff. The Park receives upwards for 4 million visitors per year and thus there are challenges associated with managing these numbers within the protected areas of the park including SSSI; SAC/SPA; RAMSAR and NATURA 2000 designations.

Essex

First joined May and Baker in 1965 which was part of the RP group. Started as fungicide/insecticide specialist and later managed Ag. field development team in UK and across 30 countries. Finished career managing UK research farms - part of global RP farms network and leading on herbicide field R&D.
