The purpose of the Newtown Cultural Arts Commission shall be to stimulate, facilitate, coordinate and cooperate with existing organizations for the development of the arts. It shall serve as an information center and focal point in the community for activities in the arts.

I was the past Chief of Newtown Ambulance (2016-2017 / 2017-2018) With over 50 members and $5 million in assets we cover over 2600 Emergency calls a year. I have been a active member (EMT) in good standing for over 17 years, including serving on the Executive Board for many of those years. I was the Newtown EMS commander for the Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting.Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps is made up of 50 highly trained Emergency Medical Technicians who volunteer their time to help others in their community. NVAC covers an area of over 60 square miles and is one of t he most active volunteer EMS providers in our region with a volume of over 2,200 calls and 30,000 volunteer hours per year. Currently, NVAC has three ambulances available to provide Basic Life Support (BLS) service. In order to provide advanced life support (ALS) to our community, NVAC contracts for a paramedic to be housed 24/7 at our station.

911 emergency dispatchers receive emergency calls by telephone, radio system or computer-aided dispatch system. They question callers to obtain the information needed to determine an appropriate course of action.

I was an EMT with this Ambulance Service, which does both 911 and transportation EMS. I am also a Field Training Officer and OSHA officer.

I was an EMT with this Emergency Service that provides EMS staffing to Georgetown Vol. Fire Dept.

I was the one intern in the office. I was on the planning team for the FEMA drill/exercise that the region is conducting. I was also involved will all day to day operations of the office and any and all emergencies. I was constantly in communications with area EMS services, local state and federal ECO’s and any and all other agencies involved with hospital operations.

I was the Production Manager at Symphony Space in NYC. PMs, are responsible for the success of the backstage operations of a theater. Overall, the PM is primarily responsible for the theater production's budget and allocation of resources. Production managers create timelines for work completion and schedule meetings with different production departments (e.g. technical, costume, set, and lighting design). PMs are ultimately responsible for the quality of the show itself, since they have worked with the crew every day to ensure the various directors' visions have been realized. Finally, it is up to the PM to ensure that everyone works safely.
