Born in England, I moved to the United States in 2000 and now live in the beautiful city of Portland, Oregon. I’m happily married to an American woman and have pursued various career paths throughout my life.My passion for cooking led me to train and work as a chef, where I honed my skills and developed a deep appreciation for culinary arts. Following this, I took on new challenges, teaching English as a second language in both Spain and Thailand.Seeking a new challenge, I transitioned into sales and worked for many years for BMW and Mercedes, selling cars to eager customers. During the pandemic we moved to Ireland to care for a sick relative. Since returning home I moved on to work as a test administrator for Pearson VUE, where I use my skills and experience to ensure a smooth testing experience for candidates, and a secure and professional environment for my company.Outside of work, I enjoy a range of hobbies, including watching movies, exploring new restaurants, indulging in photography, and engaging in backyard astronomy. I love reading novels but can also be found reading a technical manual with a small screwdriver in hand. I like to think my adventurous spirit, passion for learning, and diverse career experiences have made me a unique and well-rounded individual. I continue to explore new opportunities and embrace all that life has to offer.
