Duties included Enterprise level responsibility as a Level 3 Desktop Support Engineer. Responsible for creating help desk content used for supporting the desktop throughout the enterprise. Responsible for training Desktop Support engineers at all levels. Responsible for creating and implementing detailed server installation and design documentation. Other duties included generalized software / application packaging and enterprise wide SCCM distribution. Strategic projects included:• Responsible for designing, scripting and implementing Windows XP images for the enterprise which included a custom designed WinPE solution for easy image distribution. Tasks also included quarterly image updates and assisting with evaluating and selecting PC hardware for the enterprise.• Technical lead responsible for creating and maintaining SCCM 2012 OSD using MDT deployed Windows 7 and Windows 8 for enterprise wide deployment. Tasks also included maintaining various images, maintaining a standalone MDT environment and creating documentation for the process.• Achieved a 99.5% success ratio or above on all enterprise deployments.• Responsible for creating, consolidating and maintaining Desktop Group Policy for the Enterprise. • Responsible for designing and implementing enterprise wide Bit9 solution which also included various roundtable discussions. Tasks also included detailed installation instructions and applying patches.• Responsible for maintaining and upgrading the McAfee solution for the enterprise over a period of 22 months. Tasks also included engineering and implementing McAfee HIPS and DLP enterprise wide. • Participated on the team that setup and maintained a Commvault desktop backup solution for the enterprise.

Ensured infrastructure uptime for a regional network supporting 1400 users. Accountable for providing 7x24 desktop support by phone and at the workstation, and 3rd level technical support. Maintained backups and LAN administration. Led strategic projects and trained desktop support engineers.• Achieved 99.99% network uptime with locally supported servers by collaborating with other regional administrators to implement the solutions nationwide.• Achieved a rating of 4.0 or higher (5 being the highest) in customer satisfaction and personal performance appraisals by applying superior technical knowledge to quickly resolve problems.• Positioned project team to complete a timely, high quality migration of 30,000 users from NT4 to Active Directory by developing detailed procedures and process testing.• Provided the technical lead for a nationwide migration of 10,000 users from Novell servers to Windows 2000 servers. This included drafting, designing and implementing the migration strategy, developing documentation, training remote administrators and closely managing the 6 month rollout schedule. The local migration was also accomplished with no service interruption while managing the regional server migration.• Improved printer servicing and systems capabilities using existing software by designing, testing and implementing peripheral location tracking in the Active Directory potentially saving hundreds of Man-hours Company wide.• Provided desktop support for 200+ users which included building, testing and managing multiple Ghost images and rolling out software and operating system patches through SMS. This also included troubleshooting desktop issues at the desk or over the phone using remote control software and working with break/fix contractors to repair equipment.
