I started my Law Enforcement career in Arpil 1993 at the Clovis Police Department. I spent two years on patrol before transferring to the CPD Traffic Unit as a Motor Officer. I got on the CPD SWAT team in 1995 and became a firearms instructor at this time as well. I spent the next ten years as a traffic officer until promoting to Sergeant in 2006. As a Sergeant I served in the patrol division, then moved to the Special Operations Unit as the Detective Sergeant. I promoted to LIeutneant in 2011 and served as the SOU Lieutenant and Region V Narcotics Task Force supervisor. I transfered back to the FIeld Services Division in 2013. I served as the CPD SWAT Team Commander until August of 2017, I am currently the Field Services Captain which oversees 3 Lieutenants, 6 Sergeants, 35 patrol officers, K9, SWAT, Traffic Unit, Dispatch Center and Animal Control.. I have truly enjoyed the dedication of the Clovis Police Department and it's officers to make Clovis a better place to Live, Work and Play.
