Developed, maintained, and operated a self-employment business of lawn care. As solo, all aspects of sales, customer contact, administration (e.g. QuickBooks, sales tax, invoicing, collections), equipment selection and maintenance.

In 20 years, worked in many roles as an entrepreneurial start up. The last 10 years, worked primarily as a supervisor or manager. Company grew from 6 employees to 185 during the 20 year period. All work was focused on development, sales, training, and application of engineering simulation software (mechanical, dynamic, thermal applications). Did programming, teaching, sales, management of computer facilities/network, management of licensing contracts.

Consulting engineering. Analysis of mechanical parts with regard to stress/strain, deflections, temperature, vibration. Simulation using Finite Element Methods. Wrote some software for specific applications in Fortran. Prepare proposals and write reports for analysis results. Applications in nuclear power, industrial, and consumer goods.
