As a Business Systems Consultant for Sauder Woodworking, I collaborate closely with cross functional business and development teams to oversee the lifecycle of projects ranging from web development, SQL, SAP, RPA, and reporting systems. I provide dedicated support to sales operations in both physical and ecommerce sectors, logistics processes for international and domestic operations, financial systems, and consumer service capabilities. As a Web Developer for Sauder Woodworking, I am responsible for working closely with the web development team and Business Consultants to gather requirements, design, create, build, and test websites, robots, and SAP BW processes to meet the needs of our business partners. I specialize in designing, building, and adding enhancements to websites in C#, SQL, AngularJS, and JQuery. I also work closely with Business Consultants to come up with solutions for and create RPA (UIPath) processes to automate time consuming, repetitive tasks.

As a Contractor at Marathon, I am responsible for working closely with our business partners to gather requirements, design, build, and test solutions based on these requirements, conduct cost and risk analyses for new software, and coordinate moves to production for multiple applications. I primarily support a Project Server environment, preforming restores of projects, building reports using SQL Server, building new web parts, setting up new environments, and enhancing a web API that transfers data from an internal application to Project Server. Also, I am tasked with fixing bugs, making updates, and taking service requests for an internal C#/AngluarJS web application. In addition, I help support a highly critical phone network as part of a team of developers by taking service requests and on call responsibilities.

As a Specialist for the Presentation Systems team, I am responsible for working with both upstream and downstream teams to design and update various applications and correspondence owned by the team. Also, I train new team members on our applications and processes, give estimates for projects, provide technical analysis, create new and maintaining in use applications, and oversee in flight projects to their completion while assisting developers as added. I work in an agile environment where I regularly attend three amigo sessions with a requirements analyst and tester to understand the requirements for the project and estimate the points needed to complete the task. These tasks include revising and creating documents using the CSF Designer tool, updating existing batch flows as well as creating new using Linux commands that trigger Java programs and PERL scripts to run, update and maintain an existing Java program that updates and queries an Oracle database, create multiple Java applications to be integrated into batch flows, training team members on our applications, assigning tasks to developers, assisting them as needed, using GitHub, Jenkins, and Urban Code Deploy to migrate our code through our testing environments to production, and oversee a project from start to completion to ensure that we meet our deadlines. I organize a release schedule for the many for the many projects deploying at the same time.

As a Senior Developer for the Presentation Systems team, I was responsible for assisting upstream and downstream teams to design and update various applications and correspondence. Using the agile processes, I attend requirements sessions to receive requirements for the project. The tasks I was given by a tech lead to complete included creating and changing documents, making updates to PERL scripts, supporting existing Java programs, creating new Java applications to be integrated into batch flows, and supporting the testing of logos stored on the mainframe for one of the team’s downstream partners. I also worked as part of a core group of developers to introduce new code management tools into our team space, such as GitHub, Jenkins, and Urban Code Deploy to promote our code through our testing environments and production.

As a developer for Presentation Systems, I was tasked with creating and updating documents for retirement plans in the CSF Designer application, supporting and adding in new functionality into a large Java application, writing SQL queries to update an Oracle database, and writing new Java applications. As a part of a team that utilized the agile mindset, I attended daily standup meetings to go over the status of my tasks, three amigo sessions to receive requirements, and iteration planning meetings to determine what work I would be working on in the upcoming iteration.
