My principal skill is in digital hardware design and switching power supplies. I developed these experiences during the last 16 years at Nutaq. I have done dozens of successfull design during this time frame from simple electronic board to complex high-speed multi-processor boards.The tools I have used most is PCAD for schematic capture but I have also used Cadence OrCad and Mentor Graphics DxDesigner. An example of one design is an ATCA card with 5 Virtex-6 FPGA with high speed DDR3 memory and high speed links connecting the fpga in a full mesh.During the first 5 years of my career, I was an electronic system integrator for industrial control system where I was also doing the embedded software for the controller. For example, I worked on a controller to automate an airport landing runway brush. I was responsible for debugging the electronic hardware, fine tune the embedded software in connection with the mechanical and hydraulic devices and make sure the complete system is working.For the next 5 years, I made many complex digital design for Actel and Xilinx FPGA using Viewlogic Schematic Capture tool. These design was tested during board bring-up using digital logic analyzer but also using Viewsim digital simulator tool. An example of a complex design was a complete real-time digital image filter with multi-ports custom DRAM controller for storing frame buffers.
