About Roger Hedlund

I am a MSc graduated as Mechanical Engineer within Machine Design and Vehicle Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology. I have worked with mechanics for embedded electronics with high demands on cooling and EMC for over 30 years. My experience covers from milled low volume products for ground and airborne defence products to high volume casted and molded products for telecom industry. I also have experience of energy storage systems and noise shielding on trucks.As a team player I share my experiences not only in mechanical design but also in documentation with 2D drawings as well as 3D model base definitionMy knowledge within geometrical product specification is well above average and will be beneficial in designing of products with increased robustness to lower cost.During my career i have worked with Creo Parametric/PDMLink as user, superuser and administrator. I have participated in several test to evaluate the system prior to upgrades. My sense for details and improvements have also given me the opportunity to participate in development of methods for mechanical design.Personally, i enjoy the company of close friends and family. At home i find a satisfaction to work with my hands and as a house owner i have done everything from rebuild the laundry to build a stone porch and lay a lawn. When the opportunity comes I gladly relax with a beer and a steak or a nice piece of tuna on the grill.
