Head of the AP&T team within the DXC Practice for Oracle, I led a team of ~60 FTE professionals across APAC, overseeing the delivery of consulting, advisory, and managed services to a diverse clientele across various industries. My core focus was on driving innovation and optimizing costs, which involved shaping the Practice Strategy and guiding the team towards the continuous improvement and integration of industry best practices and operational excellence into our clients' solutions and service delivery.

- Established a Technology and Infrastructure Practice aimed at delivering Oracle-related technology solutions to customers in Victoria, South Australia, and Tasmania.- Led a team of consultants skilled in technology and infrastructure consulting, project leadership, and IT transformation support.

- Served as Technical Project Manager for various Red Rock Consulting customers across public and private sectors.- Performed these responsibilities alongside a contract role at Coles Group.

- Re-architected and implemented a new backup and recovery approach for all Oracle databases across the business, enhancing data security, and backup and recovery efficiency across the organisation. - Undertook this initiative in conjunction with my responsibilities at Red Rock Consulting.

- Reporting to the Technical Architecture Lead for the Supermarkets Transformation Project.- Responsible for delivering database and application server environments to support Oracle Retail products such as RMS, RPM, SIM, and AIP.- Collaborated closely with internal teams, Oracle/Oracle Retail vendors, and system integrator Accenture to ensure key milestones and deliverables were achieved.- Managed a $2M budget for the Execution Architecture Team.- Led a team of 30 professionals, including Oracle DBAs and experts in Oracle and IBM Middleware Technology.- Established and maintained standards for Oracle databases and Application Servers, ensuring project delivery within agreed service levels and timeframes.- Provided technical leadership and guidance to Oracle database administrators.- Oversaw the implementation of ITIL v3 practices and conducted code reviews.- Designed database solutions for integration with the Oracle Retail application suite.- Implemented application and database security, and deployed software and reports to head office and store team members.- Engaged in hands-on DBA activities across multiple development, test, training, and production OLTP environments.- Handled installation, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle software and database environments, including High Availability setups using HP Service Guard.- Performed Backup and Recovery, Performance Tuning, and Capacity Planning tasks.

- Assisted the Oracle DBA team on a short-term basis for the Customer Ring Fencing Project.- Applied experience from previous transformation projects to support preparation and go-live database activities.- Contributed to successful database setup and implementation, ensuring timely project completion.
