A 3-month contract role, that has since been extended into a rolling renewal arrangement, predominantly remote working in collaboration with in-house engineering staff to complete several bespoke ATE (Automated Test Equipment) systems for automated product testing of ISM band radio / mixed-signal (analog and digital) IoT (Internet of Things) devices, as well as characterisation, conditioning and testing of production components such as antennae and primary lithium accumulators.These projects involve custom electronic test interface hardware, touch-screen graphical user interfaces for test personnel, 16-bit (TI MSP430) and 32-bit (SiLabs EFM32 ARM Cortex M3 Gecko) embedded C firmware, as well as significant software apps developed in Python and C# running on a both Linux and Windows platforms.Loncel is a great company to work for, and their people are really friendly & professional ... it's a pleasure to work with them.
