Accounting / Finance Experience: I have over 15 years of experience in accounting, including 8 years as a Controller / CFO, and 5 years as an Assistant Controller. I have worked for best-in-class organizations including La-Z-Boy Chair Company, Holnam, Cadillac Asphalt (a division of Edward C. Levy) and DeMaria Building Company. Management: I have over 10 years of experience managing direct reports. During this time I have managed from 2 to 14 employees at one time encompassing the areas of: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Job Cost, Senior Accountants, Financial Analysts, Clerical Staff, Purchasing, Human Resources, and Information Technology. I have experience with managing multiple entities at one time including 4 plant locations and 5 paving crews with Cadillac Asphalt. With DeMaria Building Company I had the experience of managing a staff of 12 with 5 separate business entities rolled into the parent company. Operations / Business Development / Consulting: I have extensive experience in business development and operations. While with Cadillac Asphalt, I worked alongside the President and Vice President to develop a multitude of new business operating procedures. These procedures include safety, environmental, staff management, and the implementation of ERP (Oracle). With DeMaria Building Company, I was promoted to the President / CFO role with EBA, a startup company specializing in procurement services.
