I am an experienced Senior Operations Specialist, Harbour Master and Master Mariner with exceptional commercial acumen and an in-depth knowledge of business practices, regulatory compliance, logistics and finance, which I use to improve processes and deliver viable solutions for marine projects. In my current role as Senior Port Manager for Jazan City for Primary & Downstream Industries (JCPDI) Saudi Arabia, I am supporting a project to develop a newly constructed port into a commercial operating entity, managing all legal environmental, power, navigational and security issues, with notable achievements to date including delivery of gold standard port regulations and SOPs to aggressive timescales, and expediting completion and worldwide publication of accurate navigational charts, averting significant costs and greatly improving navigational safety.
