CurrentRoger “Kirk” Kirkpatrick is a former Marine Corps officer currently working for Combat Maneuver Systems of Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in Dallas, Texas. He holds a current top secret clearance. At Lockheed Martin he is currently involved in the development of tactical combat vehicles with both manned and robotic capabilities, advanced survivability suites, and issues concerning human-robotic interface. He has participated in Systems Engineering and Operational Analysis of Electro-Magnetic Launch weapon systems and extensive studies concerning the Army’s Future Combat System, the requirements of future expeditionary warfare, the development of advanced tactical missile payloads, and application of both non-lethal weapons and advanced Directed Energy technologies. He has served as project manager for the Next Generation of Intelligent Tactical Vehicles CRADA for TARDEC, the development of semi-autonomous navigation and guidance systems, the analysis and development of a Naval Land Attack Missile Systems for employment from both surface and subsurface naval combatant platforms, the Operational Analysis of the FCS, and electromagnetic weaponry for both Army and Marine Corps applications. He has and continues to lead the LMMFC effort to establish collaborative efforts with other advanced technology companies and academic institutions to meet the requirements of the Department of Defense.
