• R2TD Operations Field Service Representative, monitor system and gather intelligence information from measurements and signal signatures sets and prepare and formulate findings and provide useful analysis, which can be utilized in making critical battlefield decisions by the Battle Captain in the BDOC. • As an R2TD Operations Field Service Representative, maintain Linux based network of the Blackwolf EMX USS-1 (Unattended Surveillance System), as well as the R2TD Linear Seismic Detection System in order to protect and safeguard critical infrastructure and resources for the United States Military and NATO partners in Afghanistan. • Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and analysis of unattended ground sensors that provide real-time identification of surface and subsurface geophysical phenomenon to enable specific threat based response. • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on generators, servers, computers, and long range day and IR camera systems as well as fiber optic repairs utilizing OTDR equipment and ribbon splicers. Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve field installation problems on servers, network switches, and ports. • Additional Duty as R2TD Site Logistician responsible for receiving, validating and processing all transportation movement request (TMR), Air Movement Request (AMR) and Logistics Movement Requests (LMR) for the personnel and equipment transiting, origination and terminating assigned MCT Area of Responsibility.
