As a licensed Structural Engineer in State of California, I have over 25 years of experience in building analysis and design, project management, construction administration and support services. In the past 15 years, I have been involved in new design as well as rehabilitation of themed attractions and facilities across several continents including China and Russia. Other areas of design include mixed-use structures, hotels, post-tensioned concrete parking facilities, DSA projects, and numerous cold-formed steel framing design projects.Between 2017 and 2023, I worked with the Architecture and Facilities Engineering team at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim as the manager of the architecture, civil and structural engineering group. My role included facilitating communication between DLR and the City of Anaheim Building Department. Maintaining communication with City personnel to support DLR’s needs for review, permit, and inspection of projects. Monitor and manage the indices of available resources and demands of DLR projects. Communicate with DLR partners on City requirements, ever-evolving code requirements, rules and regulations.As the manager of the facility design group, we support internal and external partners by providing oversight of new projects, looking at various aspects of projects including safety, brand quality, operational and sustainability requirements.
