I have spent nearly 50 years working within western Canada. In Saskatchewan specializing in sales, sales management and marketing activities for a diverse mixture organizations including a 2 ½ year assignment overseas in eastern Europe working for a joint public/private sector trade development company known as Agdevco with its European offices in Vienna Austria. In this role I helped Saskatchewan and Canadian businesses form productive partnerships with East European counterparts. I have served as GSM for both multi-franchise and stand-alone automobile dealers as well as serving several years as VP of operations for a Regina-based memorial manufacturing firm with offices across western Canada. During my career I have traveled extensively throughout our province as well as Alberta and BC, establishing many valued connections along the way.I grew up in several provinces from the east coast to Alberta, as an ‘RCMP brat’ but my Saskatchewan roots run deep as his mother’s family farm near Melfort was a regular summer destination that never changed and always felt like I was returning "home" every year. I was recently appointed Business Development Manager for the Better Business Bureau serving Saskatchewan. I strongly believe in the mandate and purpose of the BBB and want more people to learn about the invaluable function that the BBB performs. I regularly advocates for the foundational principles that the BBB is built upon. I see its function as critical in today’s business environment. I am convinced that even 100 years after it was established, the services provided by the BBB continue to be more relevant and needed as they have ever been.
