I have nearly 30 years of architectural experience, working on a wide range of projects in various sectors, including commercial and residential developments, within the UK & Ireland.My early career was informed by highly regarded practice partners in a family business, gaining invaluable wide ranging experience, leading to skills maximising and enhancing projects, developing client and stakeholder relationships from concept to the completion of construction. The scale of projects has varied from private house extensions, major hotels, commercial industrial estates, office developments and drive thru restaurants within a major airport perimeter, to the approval for the redevelopment of a mushroom farm with a new associated 'village', including community facilities for an estimated construction cost of £35M. I have worked with clients' ranging from private home owners to major blue chip brands, including playing a leading client side role in redeveloping car showrooms for several large global automotive brands across the UK, working closely with all stakeholders to incorporate architectural and new corporate identity features, to help deliver buildings that match the reputation of the products. The portfolio of experience and skills developed through involvement in hundreds of projects led to the formation of Roger Baldwin Architectural Design Ltd.RBAD Ltd's client's benefit from years of experience, maximising sites without compromise to the design brief, informed by an understanding of planning and building regulation requirements at an early stage, availability of long standing consultant team relationships, plus a highly successful track record of gaining planning approvals, with company director input throughout the lifespan of project involvement. Over the last three years, RBAD Ltd have been involved in the design and construction of several new build executive dwellings, a swimming pool enclosure and an orangery extension to a listed building.RBAD Ltd have recently secured conditional planning approval for a major scheme in Sussex, incorporating 35 new residential dwellings of varying size and tenure plus community enhancement facilities.
