As a Geospatial Modelling Specialist, I support stakeholders on the USAID funded West Africa Energy Program (WAEP), to implement a data driven model, using geospatial tools and techniques, targeted at optimizing last mile electrification planning, to reduce cost of data acquisition and overall turnaround time for electrification planning.The model will present least cost electrification options, an implementation strategy and an investment plan, to achieve universal access to electricity in Ghana, as stipulated in goal 7 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
