Leading 4 FTE.Key Achievements to Date:-►Helped define the requirements for an off the shelf booking/queuing system and evaluated preferred solution’s (Booking Bug) suitability by visiting their offices for demo’s and to understand service offerings.►Shoehorned the legacy booking system in at the new site temporarily by patching/fixing end of life Check-in terminals for the old system and deploying digital signage connected to this to show queuing info onscreen for members of the public.►Defined/implemented the technology to lock down multiple PCs for the public to access council services/benefits and apply for jobs purchasing a solution called ThinKiosk.►Evaluated custom made PC terminals and delivered All in One PC’s using armoured mouse/keyboard combo devices that met the custom desk design.►Oversaw the installation by an AV company of the screen/digital signage requirements to work with the queuing system and provide the public information on local events.►Configured and rolled out hybrid touchscreen laptop devices part of the working model for the new Customer Centre performing early adoption/testing in Windows 10 with all 40 Customer Centre staff.►Fixed issues with Chip and Pin devices not working on machines running Windows 10 and rolled this out enabling a cashless environment. -

Key Achievements in Role:-►Developed an aggressive delivery plan and achieved the migration of 3,400+ users across 80 sites in 6 months to Skype for Business which provided the council a 7-figure OPEX saving vs the legacy BT hosted system.►Ran a series of audits in Active Directory to identify dead/system/generic accounts to get an accurate number of how many employees would be migrated.►Successfully completed the complex migration of the council’s 3rd party Intelligent Voice Recognition (IVR) switchboard to Skype for Business working with Netcall (IVR supplier), Lambeth network teams and O2/Telefonica – routed Netcall calls through O2’s Session Border Controllers and network through to our hosted Skype for Business platform.►Managed change with staff/SMT and the Unions conducting training on Skype for Business (5-25 per session) to ensure they realised the benefits of this new system which drove rapid adoption by users.
