Roger Ochs is a member of the board of Choreo, an independent RIA currently partnering with CPA firms by providing integrated tax, estate planning, investment management and comprehensive financial planning to serve complex client needs and board member of eSecLending, a provider of securities financing, collateral and liquidity services to institutional investors and clearing organizations worldwide. Ochs serves as a strategic advisor to Income Discovery, a proven, AI powered, preeminent platform to help retirees optimize their retirement income decisions. Ochs is also a Strategic Advisory Counsel member for Custodial Financial, a provider of an automated loan insurance program for 401(k) loan defaults. Ochs also serves on Parthenon Capital's Industry Advisor Council and SIFMA's Advisors Council.Ochs retired from HD Vest Financial Services in 2017. He guided HD Vest to become the leading financial services company supporting tax professionals delivering comprehensive services including securities, insurance, money management services and banking services. While at HD Vest, Ochs was named by Accounting Today as one of the top names to know in the accounting industry. He served on the Executive Committee and chaired several committees of Securities Industry Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) and is a member of the Texas Bar Association and the Dallas Bar Association. He served as a board member for the Association Montessori International/USA (AMI/USA) for six years, and served as president on the board of trustees for the Barbara Gordon Montessori School from 2007 to 2010. Ochs enjoys athletics, is an avid runner, and has finished the Boston Marathon 11 times.
