Roger Ouellette grew up in Toronto and was exposed to the hospitality industry at an early age as his parents owned a hotel in North Bay and then a couple of small family restaurants in the Toronto area. Roger joined the fine dining scene in his early twenties and worked for such places as Scaramouche, North 44 and Canoe. Moving on and keen to cut his teeth by owning his own business Roger started with a boutique catering company then after five years expanded into his own restaurant in the Durham area. After a period Roger wanted to move back into the Toronto scene and was very excited to become the Food and Beverage Manager at Verity Women’s Club in 2012. After a year of making continuous improvements at Verity Roger moved on to become the Food and Beverage Manager at The Amsterdam Brewhouse in Toronto. In the summer of 2014 Roger was recruited by a consultancy firm to work at Doppio Zero in Forest Hill.
