For over twenty years I was employed by Hycalog, later ReedHycalog, which was acquired by National Oilwell Varco (NOV) in 2009. Over that 20 year span, we were owned by various parent companies, first Camco, later Schlumberger, Grant Prideco, and finally NOV. The experience of working with great people and great leadership throughout those years allowed me to grow as an employee and understand that our customer’s needs come first. Understanding the individual needs of each client, my focus was always to match or develop products & service level to match our client’s needs. NOV management supported the development of an engineering support team to monitor, track, and improve this cycle to help achieve our sales goals.Over this span I served in various positions from salesman, team lead, and various sales management positions, with the last 10 years focused on Deepwater Sales. We built an outstanding team of sales and engineering support, growing our business and market share though these efforts.
