Leading and managing the development, maintenance and effective use of Business Intelligence Applications and Information Architectures to ensure that they optimize the effectiveness of the applications, databases, and technology platforms on which they operate and that they accurately represent the current and planned usage of information by the programs and services of the business at Region of Peel.

- Lead Implementation of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 11g (OBIEE), Oracle BI Applications HR Analytics and deepen the presence of BI Reporting Platform (OBIEE) at Region of Peel head office. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide recommendations on Enterprise/Departmental reporting, improved data repositories, and enhanced analytical capabilities.- Extract, transform, and analyze data information from a variety of sources including operational systems and asset management systems to prepare management reports and interactive dashboard and to help realize service linkages and program objectives. - Develop sophisticated algorithms, models, statistical representations, spatial pattern recognition and data visualizations to process structured and unstructured data sets and build insightful reports, dashboards and metrics.

- Does heavy lifting in analytical modeling and deepening the presence of analytics at Economical Insurance- Works with the various stakeholder groups to transform business ideas and strategy into working analytical model.- Contributes to the development of sophisticated broker and customer segmentation models; process optimization enablers; productivity measurement; enterprise risk management KPI’s; business value assessments, and claim segmentation model.- Researches and develops new models, tools and process that will advance actuarial skills within the department.- Manages GIS tools, geo-spatial data and corresponding training at head office.
